Development Fund Proposal Submission

Proposal file: /proposals/mpch-aegis-ip-monitoring.md

Summary

AEGIS is a policy-driven IP trust monitoring platform that strengthens the operational security and compliance posture of the Canton Network. It provides continuous monitoring of IP addresses interacting with Canton infrastructure, detects geopolitical and network-level drift, and maintains an auditable record of every trust decision — delivered as shared ecosystem infrastructure to reduce duplicated security engineering across Canton participants.

@nick-mpch-io Thanks for this useful proposal. Can you confirm that the proposal makes no assumption that IP whitelisting will remain in place on the Global Synchronizer, and that AEGIS will continue to function as intended when whitelists are removed?
