Smart Twitter automation tool that automatically follows/unfollows accounts based on bio keywords.
- Analyzes user bios and matches keywords
- Two modes: Follow new accounts or unfollow existing ones
- Bulk processing (no keywords required)
- Safe operation with built-in delays
- Works on both twitter.com and x.com
- Download or clone this repository
- Open Chrome and go to
chrome://extensions/ - Enable "Developer mode" (toggle in top-right)
- Click "Load unpacked" and select the Xmator folder
- The extension is now installed

- Go to Twitter/X in your browser
- Navigate to a Following page:
- For Unfollow mode: Go to your own Following page
- For Follow mode: Go to someone else's Following page
- Click the Xmator extension icon
- Enter keywords (optional):
- With keywords: Only processes accounts matching those keywords
- Without keywords: Processes all accounts (bulk mode)
- Choose your mode:
- Unfollow: Keeps accounts with your keywords, removes others
- Follow: Follows accounts with your keywords, skips others
- Click "Start Xmator"
- Check browser console (F12) to monitor progress
Clean your following list:
- Mode: Unfollow
- Keywords:
developer, tech, startup - Result: Keeps tech-related accounts, unfollows others
Follow tech people:
- Mode: Follow
- Keywords:
engineer, programming, code - Result: Follows only accounts with those keywords
Unfollow everyone:
- Mode: Unfollow
- Keywords: (leave empty)
- Result: Unfollows all accounts
- No buttons found: Scroll down to load more profiles
- Extension not working: Make sure you're on twitter.com or x.com
- Keywords not matching: Check spelling and use lowercase
- See what's happening: Press F12 to open console for detailed logs
