Adds rudimentary support for them. Eventually, these need to be changed to
use a much better/beautiful UI elements.

* Clicking the 'Trigger GC' button would send the GC trigger command over the wire.

I think it would be better to disable the Trigger GC button when not connected. Also why not use bootstrap instead of custom css?
