Junior-Phase Supplementary Projects

Objective: Practice the core materials of Jr Phase, by iteratively building a full-stack learning management application for students and grades

Week I) Building CRUD Routes w/ Express

Week II) Completing an API w/ Sequelize

Week III) Beginning a front-end w/ React

Week IV) Adding form validations

Structure

• 4 workshops to be completed over 4 Saturdays

• Each lesson consists of one or many 'cycles'

• Cycles:

  • 5-10 mins of describing feature (or npm init where relevant)

  • 30-40 mins of students coding (individual or pairs)

  • 15-20 mins of instructor live-coding feature w/ Q & A
