Summary

  • Add customer-facing deprecation warning to README for gradient-adk and the gradient CLI
  • Mark package metadata description as DEPRECATED
  • Part of Gradient AI branding / SDK-style distribution retirement (PyPI + archive + PDOCS)

Test plan

  • Confirm README banner renders on GitHub
  • After merge: publish PyPI deprecation / release with updated README
  • Archive repo
  • Remove PDOCS ADK page (product-docs build-agents-using-adk)

Mark distribution as deprecated so GitHub and PyPI surfaces match the Gradient SDK retirement playbook.
