Hacker Mode
Hacker Mode is an advanced feature in WiFi Master designed for users with technical knowledge of network analysis and security. This mode uses a local VPN service to track network activity on your device and is primarily meant for debugging and security checks.
In Hacker Mode, the app intercepts all network packets leaving your device:
- Packet Tracking: It records the source and destination of each packet to see where data is being sent.
- Advanced Monitoring: Users can identify which apps or services are communicating over the network, helping to detect unauthorized data transmissions.
Important Note: The local VPN service does not connect to any external server and does not read packet data. It solely logs the endpoints of connections made by your device, keeping all data fully private to you.
This mode is intended for experienced users who want to:
- Monitor Device Activity: See if any apps are sending data without your permission.
- Enhance Privacy: Ensure that no apps are communicating sensitive information without your knowledge.
- Detect Suspicious Connections: Identify connections to unknown destinations that may indicate spyware or unauthorized network activity.
Warning: Activating Hacker Mode will intercept all outgoing data on your device, which may make the device appear to have no internet connection. This mode is intended for users comfortable with advanced network configurations.
Hacker Mode is a powerful tool for those who know how to interpret the results. For the average user, it’s best to rely on the regular WiFi Master analysis tools for a clear and accessible overview of network security.
