Show message threads instead of the profile panel on mobile - #4777
Conversation
The profile sidebar opened by default and covered the conversation on small screens. Keep it closed below the sm breakpoint on both message pages, and leave it open on larger screens. Co-authored-by: Steven Tey <steven@dub.co>

Remove the closed panel from keyboard navigation.
Below sm, the responsive panel has zero width, but its links and buttons remain focusable. Keyboard users can tab into controls they cannot see on both message pages. Apply responsive visibility classes to the default state, and hide the explicitly closed state as well.

The conversation request was keeping the last partner's messages on screen until the next thread loaded. Drop that stale history immediately, and remove the side panel test. Co-authored-by: Steven Tey <steven@dub.co>
The previous thread stayed on screen until the next route finished loading. Cover that pane as soon as another thread is opened, and keep the spinner up until that thread's messages are ready. Co-authored-by: Steven Tey <steven@dub.co>
Opening a conversation on a phone showed the profile sidebar instead of the message history. That sidebar defaults to open, and below the
smbreakpoint it is full-width, so it covers the thread. Both message pages now start with the panel closed on small screens: the program dashboard and partners.dub.co. It still opens by default from
smup, and the header controls can open or close it at any size.Switching threads also left the previous conversation on screen until the next route finished loading. Opening another thread now covers that pane with a spinner immediately, and the spinner stays up until that thread’s messages are ready.
