Correct several spelling and lore items that has been bothering me ever since v7.1 was released:

SwatEquipment.int

  • Corrected description for Less Lethal M870 shotgun (Less Lethal M870 Wrong Description #723)
  • Add orange variant description for Less Lethal Nova shotgun
  • sub-machinegun/submachinegun -> submachine gun
  • firemode -> fire mode

SwatMissions.ini

  • For Pepper-ball gun, Less Lethal Nova, Less Lethal M870, UMP SMG and Colt Accurized Rifle, updated equipment unlock screen in mission briefing to use the new textures from the gui_tex3 file.
  • Corrected description for Less Lethal M870 shotgun in SP-AutoGarage mission (Less Lethal M870 Wrong Description #723)
  • Corrected description for night vision goggle regarding in sharing the same key as flashlight in SP-Tenement mission.
  • submachineguns -> submachine guns (SP-ArmsDeal)

SwatProtectiveEquipment.int

  • submachineguns -> submachine gun

transient.int

  • Corrected description about night vision goggle sharing the same key as flashlight in the training mission.
  • disappearence -> disappearance (SP-FairfaxResidence civilian info UI screen)
  • Remove the explanation on what CNT stands for from the SP-HalfwayHouse mission timeline strings, since SP-ConvenienceStore mission had explain it already (Also no other missions aside from those two tried to explain what the abbreviation means).
  • in SP-Casino, edited the mission timeline strings so Detective Walsh will not time travel 2 hours into the past before entering the casino.
  • Swat -> SWAT (SP-Office and SP-DrugLab mission timeline UI screen)
  • Ukranian -> Ukrainian (SP-ArmsDeal)
  • downpayment -> down payment (SP-Hotel mission briefing UI screen)
  • milllion -> million (SP-Hotel mission briefing UI screen)
  • James Betincourt Jr. father will now be consistently referred to as James Betincourt Sr. instead of James Betincourt/Charles Betincourt (SP-Hotel hostage profile and timeline UI screen).
  • Adjusted all missions’ timeline UI strings to ensure consistent capitalization of words and application of period marks.
  • For SP-Office, timeline UI TimeLineShortDescription label has been shortened so the entire strings can be displayed in briefing UI.
  • Rewrote the timeline UI strings for all TSS missions, since it appears most of it are unfinished in the vanilla game (e.g. missing TimeLineShortDescription values in SP-Warehouse, while for all other missions, the TimeLineShortDescription and TimeLineLongDescription are just duplicated values with almost no modifications).
  • All unknown civilians will consistently display "Vitals unknown" and "Information unavailable." in mission briefings.
  • All unknown suspects will consistently display "Vitals unknown". They will also have their SuspectDescription tag populated with the information lifted directly from mission briefing texts.
  • Adjusted all missions’ entry point briefings to ensure consistent paragraph breaks, sniper call signs and "Side x, Level x" naming conventions.
  • Added all the missing sniper intel for TSS and SP-Hotel missions in the mission entry point briefings.
  • Corrected the timeline section of SP-FairfaxResidence mission briefing that states "No high ground established".
  • Corrected the entry point location intel on SP-Arcade, SP-HalfwayHouse, SP-Backstage, SP-Office and SP-Tenement mission briefings.
  • Updated the dates for all missions in the SWAT 4 + TSS campaign to make them follow in chronological order. See this comment for the the detailed change.
  • Updated several characters' age values to fit the missions into 2008-2009 time frame per this comment.
  • Changed SP-Arcade mission type description to "Rapid Deployment", since it shares similar back story and dispatch radio lines with SP-ABomb.
  • Changed SP-ConvenienceStore mission type description to "Barricaded Suspects / Hostage Rescue", since it shares similar back story and dispatch radio lines with SP-AutoGarage.
