Since there's no movement upstream, I'm inclined to go ahead and merge this. Though I can't confirm that it actually fixes wired networking on my computer personally |

@tintou Thank you for MR against the upstream. As @danirabbit said there seems to be no activity there, so maybe we can go ahead and merge this workaround? For now I leaved a TODO comment to remove this workaround when your upstream fix is merged |
