Repair protocol removed in Curio migration — breadcrumbs for re-adding it if needed #36

Context

The proof-set repair protocol was removed as part of the Curio PDP core migration (#22). This was a deliberate simplification: it eased the migration, and the working assumption is that Curio's core pipeline (its watcher, reorg-check, and proving machinery) obviates the need for a Piri-side repair command. We could add it back if operational need arises.

This issue is documentation only — a durable pointer to where the old code lives so it can be resurrected as a command without archaeology.

Where the code is

Removed in 195893a ("pdp: remove GORM, adopt Curio FSRegister/SettleTask, run end-to-end"). Last version lives at commit 6bf7299 (pre-migration main):

If re-adding

The old implementation is GORM-based and targets the pre-Curio table shapes (pdp_proofset_roots et al.). A resurrection would need to be rewritten against harmonydb and the renamed Curio tables (pdp_data_sets, pdp_data_set_pieces, pdp_data_set_piece_adds), and should first check whether Curio's own recovery paths (e.g. tasks/pdpv0/task_reorg_check.go) already cover the failure mode motivating it.

Close this issue if/when we either re-add the command or decide Curio's machinery makes it permanently unnecessary.
