Application

Application has four pages: map, local weather, warnings and other -pages. Each of these views are described in this document on their own pages.

Weather-page shows next 12 hours forecast, 10 days forecast, 5 days warnings summary, meteorologist's weather outlook, day length and moon phase, observations as well as latest weather and science related newsitems.

Map-page has different forecast and observations -animations.

Warnings-page shows more detailed information of the next 5 days warnings in currently selected location as well as warnings in whole Finland.

Other-page contains application settings, feedback link and other information about the application.

Widgets

Widgets include different sized forecast and warning widgets for Android and IOS.

General

Environment

FMI Weather app is coded with react-native and is published for IOS and Android. All data is provided by FMI services (Smartmet Server and SmartAlert).
