I strongly suggest having less than or equal to 11 keys per row. I have made an InScript layout for Kannada that only uses 11 keys per row, you could edit your layout based on that. |

@tenextractor 1st If we want to modify the standard to make it 11 key/row, we need to agree on one set of modifications. Because one of the main feature of InScript is that it have same muscle memory for all Indic scripts. If we modify it loosely with our own assessment of what is right, then it will not match with other layouts.

@mayberaj I understand that this PR is specifically to include Gujarati layout based on InScript standard. However, I would appreciate if you could take a look at marathi_v2 layout (I added it, and is based on GBoard Marathi layout). If Gujarati layout is the primary goal over strict InScript standard implementation, then I believe you may be interested in a layout similar to marathi_v2. Preview:Base layout:

This layout is following InScript standard with only one exception that is for rarely used historical symbols (।, ॥, ઽ) which are supposed to be more keys of period key but I have kept them as more key of a nearby (ય) key as the period key is anyways bellow in the bottom row for touch keyboards.
While I have tested this keyboard in most scenarios, the keys could be a little too narrow on small screens as there are 12 keys in each rows.
(Sorry if I missed something, this is my first PR.)
