Description

@justcode411

Describe the bug

Regression: NumLock-off numpad navigation and Delete are ignored
CLI version: GitHub Copilot CLI 1.0.98
Windows Terminal Version: 1.25.2733.0

On Windows 11 Enterprise (x64), with NumLock OFF on laptop:

  • Numpad 4/8/6/2 do not navigate the Copilot prompt cursor.
  • Numpad decimal/Delete does not delete text.
  • Dedicated arrow keys work in Copilot.
  • Numpad navigation works in PowerShell 7 in the same terminal.
  • The problem persists after updating and restarting Copilot.
  • These keys previously worked in Copilot.

Expected: NumLock-off numpad keys behave like the corresponding
dedicated navigation and Delete keys.

Reporting through  /feedback  also failed with:  Upload: feedback upload service returned HTTP 403 .

    @AnotherJob

    I hit this too, and I found that it doesn't repro with Windows Terminal 1.24. So I think it's the same issue as: microsoft/terminal#20122
