This would be great to have merged. There is also the existing issue #133 that would be resolved by this PR. |

Hello,
I am submitting this pull request to slightly improve the TypeScript support of the library, particularly for the parse function. Although the typing is not exhaustive (especially regarding namespaces), this is a request that has been made several times and I hope it represents a good start.
I hope these contributions will be beneficial and I am open to any suggestions for improving or extending these types.
