Originally, there was self.data, which was a dictionary of lists prior to being changed to a DataFrame. Now self.data is gone and self.core_reader is initialized instead with start and strides values of 0 and 1 respectively (I was not sure if those were the right values, but maybe we can talk about that). Events are added to the core reader as they are read.
