Deploying the SRE observability stack, FinOps tools, and the OpenTelemetry demo (Astronomy shop) on OpenShift surfaced a series of platform-specific failures that prevented a clean
deploy-tools/deploy-applicationsrun. This PR fixes them so the stack installs end-to-end on OpenShift while remaining correct on vanilla Kubernetes.Validated on CodeReady Containers (CRC), single-node OpenShift
1.35.x.
