  • assets/videos/: 17 clips, MP4 (H.264) + JPG poster, about 5.8 MB in total (each clip 150–700 KB).

New pages in the Desktop App, Wallet Operations group: DCA Orders (desktop-app/trading/dca) and Limit Orders (desktop-app/trading/limit-orders), written against v0.5.1.

English and Chinese trees are updated together (same clips, translated titles).

Desktop App pages brought up to v0.5.1

Every Desktop App page was checked against the v0.5.1 source and corrected (English and Chinese):

  • Wallet: welcome modes (Node + Mind / Only Node / Only Mind) and local node backends (Native Binary, Docker), the Terms step, recovery phrase reveal and full-phrase verification (12 words), account switching and unlock, Logout locking the node; deposits with the asset-tile picker, unified BIP21 QR, RGB on-chain privacy toggle and USDT over Lightning; withdrawals with auto-detected destinations and the right button labels.
  • Channels: the five-step Buy Channel wizard and its unified payment step, manual Open Channel (peer options, limits, Add RGB Assets, Review & Confirm → Pending), channel requests, backups and restore.
  • Trading: Swap Now → Confirm Swap, Manual Swaps as maker/taker, and the DCA / Limit Orders images moved to their new pages.
  • Settings and setup: Bitcoin Core node is optional (indexer-only by default), Bearer Token, Save Settings / Restart Node, maker/LSP defaults only on Mutinynet, Mainnet not yet selectable.
  • Compatibility: v0.5.1 changelog entry; RGB Lightning Node 0.10.0+ for remote nodes; wallets and backups from v0.5.0 or earlier cannot be opened by v0.5.1.
  • Verify Binaries: the manifest checksum command (sha256sum -c cannot parse the manifest format) and 0.5.1 filenames.
  • KaleidoMind: how to activate Mind and download a model; Agent is marked Soon in v0.5.1.

Screenshots: 16 re-captured on v0.5.1 (welcome, local node setup, every wallet-creation step, accounts, unlock, unlocking, sidebar, BTC and RGB deposit, settings), plus three new ones (Terms dialog, deposit asset picker, USDT over Lightning). The other screenshots still match v0.5.1 and are unchanged.

Extension pages brought up to the upcoming release

The Extension pages now describe the extension's dev branch, which is about to be released (English and Chinese):

  • Dashboard and navigation: Receive / Swap / Send actions (Bridge is reached from Receive), network status chips, collapsed asset filters, Manage asset list.
  • Receive: asset picker, routes by method or by account, the per-account receive methods, and RGB invoices (any asset, optional amount, Blinded / Witness).
  • Send: the Send screen and its formats (adds BOLT12 offers), fiat amount entry, Review Payment → Confirm & Send, pending-payment protection, Arkade → Lightning through Arkade Intents, payment links.
  • Settings: Accounts (Spark, Arkade + Arkade Intents, RGB with UTXOs / Issue asset / Backup, Liquid, Bark on signet, external Lightning Node: RGB Lightning node, LND or NWC, Nostr hub), Payments (Lightning Address), Security (Connected Apps, password, passkey, backup, auto-lock), App.
  • Onboarding and recovery: the current create and import flows, RGB setup (Use this device / Connect my node), beta notice, Reset wallet from the lock screen, where backups live.
  • dApps: window.rgb discovery (listProviders, onProviderAnnounced), decodeRgbInvoice, any-asset blindReceive, new error codes, window.bitcoin additions, NIP-07 deny latch, NWC pay_keysend, bunker clients in Connected Apps.
  • Support: bug reports go to beta@kaleidoswap.com; diagnostics from Send Feedback.

Screenshots: 17 re-captured on dev (dashboard, receive, send, cross-chain send, swap review and status, activity, settings, full tab), plus five new ones (Lightning Node settings, RGB invoice form, Arkade → Lightning review, RGB settings, Nostr settings).

Checks

  • python scripts/check-cn-parity.py: no issues in the changed pages. The two it reports (cn/ai-tools/kaleido-agent, cn/ai-tools/faq table rows) already exist on main.
  • mint dev: the clips load and play on desktop and extension pages, in both languages, and the changed pages render. The parsing warnings it prints for cn/desktop-app/getting-started/node-hosting and cn/desktop-app/support/troubleshooting are pre-existing.
  • The en=94 cn=90 navigation count difference reported by the parity script is pre-existing (92 / 88 on main).

The Desktop App clips are recorded on v0.5.1.

Add short, silent, looping clips of each flow to the pages that describe
it, through a shared FeatureVideo snippet (assets/videos/, mp4 + poster):
swaps, channel order and manual open, deposits, withdrawals, wallet
creation and unlock in the Desktop App; swaps, bridge, send and receive in
the Extension. New Desktop App pages for DCA orders and limit orders.
English and Chinese trees updated together.
Rewrite the steps that changed in v0.5.1 (welcome modes and local node
backends, terms, recovery phrase reveal and verify, account switching and
unlock, asset-tile deposit picker, unified BIP21 deposit, USDT over
Lightning, auto-detected withdrawals, buy-channel wizard and payment, manual
channel, settings fields) and fix wrong labels and paths throughout. Add the
v0.5.1 changelog entry and the v0.5.0 wallet-compatibility warnings, require
RGB Lightning Node 0.10.0 for remote nodes, make Bitcoin Core optional, and
correct the checksum command in Verify Binaries. Re-capture 16 screenshots on
v0.5.1 (three new). English and Chinese trees updated together.
