Hi there, I'm Owen Kirchenstien! 👋

Senior Computer Science Student @ Indiana University Bloomington | AI & ML Enthusiast

I'm a software engineer and AI enthusiast passionate about solving complex problems through data and machine learning. Before diving fully into tech, I played collegiate baseball for two years—an experience that ingrained in me a strong work ethic, discipline, and the ability to thrive in team-oriented, high-pressure environments.

Currently, I am looking for a Summer 2026 internship or full-time position in IT or AI Engineering, aligning with my graduation in May 2026.

🔭 What I Do

My primary focus is on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I enjoy turning data into actionable insights and building systems that can "see" and interpret the world. My specific project experience includes:

  • Computer Vision & Image Processing: Building models and pipelines to analyze and manipulate visual data.
  • Data Analysis: Extracting, processing, and interpreting large datasets to drive decision-making.
