I saw the CLI half of this shipped in linear-release v0.18.0, --description is now accepted on sync, complete and update. Thanks!
The action half doesn't seem to have landed, though. On linear-release-action v0.18.0:
action.yml has no description input. It builds the CLI args explicitly (--name, --release-version, --stage, --include-paths, …) and never emits --description. Só I believe a workflow still haven't a way to set the release description.
