  • Icon box contains year and role
  • Avatar with the role border

hmmm maybe not? I think this can be linked from /council or join ECSESS page

Like a section that says "Wants to get involved?" or "Wants to contribute to the website and develop new features?"

I like the timeline idea, but they are too sparse - far away from each other and leave a lot of empty spaces. The layout is a bit messy, especially the old contributors section.

If we're leaning to a "git commit history"-esque vibe, we can definitely make it fun like a git history graph that's all merging to "main"

as to how to implement this? I honestly don't know lol. But I feel like this could save some data structure as everyone will share the same one. Profile picture doesn't need a space on the CMS, you can fetch directly people's github profile pic
