Hi @salemkode thanks for contributing to this repo! Here are my comments:

1. To create a docker image of the indexer I recommend starting a fresh repo for that. Similar to how zquestz has a separate repo for the BCHN docker image: https://github.com/zquestz/docker-bitcoin
2. The indexer uses a configuration library that already supports environment variables. I turned that on and updated the main README for how to use them. https://github.com/memocash/index?tab=readme-ov-file#configuration
3. Adding .vscode to .gitignore is good. If you create a single commit with just that I will merge it.
