Summary

• Adds reproducible macOS/iPad build jobs, CI, deterministic transfer fixtures, fault coverage, soak tooling, and a hardware-test guide.
• Removes the unused legacy operation stack, tightens coordinator bindings and concurrency diagnostics, and centralizes iOS background-task ownership.
• Reworks transfer setup around a clear source → backups → preflight → options → action plan on macOS and iPadOS, including accessibility and reduced-motion improvements.
• Refreshes the app icon and aligns project documentation with the finished workflow.

Safety and compatibility

• Shared safety validation remains authoritative; the UI only explains readiness.
• Existing preferences, report formats, pause/resume, cancellation, and transfer behavior are preserved.
• Automated fault tools operate only on marked temporary roots or harness-created disk images.
