Summary
Added the ability for the search button icon to switch into a Close X icon when the user is searching. The search icon toggles between the magnifying glass and close icons depending on the search state like below.
Changing the search button icon at the top of the page provides feedback to the user on what mode they are in and additionally signals a way for the user to exit search and return to viewing the main content.
