I don't feel comfortable being a collaborator. While I am not actively involved in the day-to-day work within nodejs/node, I believe my contributions are still critical to it. However, I do not feel at ease participating in conversations within nodejs/collaborators. Given the internal discussions, I genuinely prefer to refrain from engaging in conversations related to collaborations; otherwise, I feel like I'm compromising my values and being hypocritical.

I will continue to do critical work, but I don’t think I should be a core collaborator as I don't belong in the "core collaborators" team.

Thank you.

I think I speak for the vast majority of collaborators when I say that the great work you have done and are doing is unanimously recognized as "core collaborators" work. Do not quit for a single discussion and keep fighting for your opinions, rights, and values!

I think the commit message should be meta: move ovflowd to emeritus, and you should still be listed but as emeritus

@ovflowd ... obviously it's your choice but I would encourage you to reconsider.

Thanks. For me being a core collaborator or not makes no difference, never made. And at the very least I won't be putting myself on situations I unfortunately regret putting myself into.

In the end I just want to make contributions on the areas I believe I can make a difference. I fear of burning bridges and I care more about the people here than keeping an illusory status.

Let's fast-track it since the off-boarding has already started, otherwise we'll have red CI on main

Sup Santoro/Gareo,

It's been a while since we last talked, but I just wanted to say that I always keep up with what you're doing, and you keep inspiring me. Everything happens in the moment, and I wish you the best of luck with your next projects.

Thanks all. To be clear, Im not leaving Node lol -- I just don't think I fit the "core collaborator" criteria and rather not be one.

I am still a maintainer of the Web Infra team, and work on other initiatives :)

I've always thought of you as "core" in terms of "integral", regardless of where in the project your amazing collaborations and contributions land.

I'm very glad you will still be around.
