• rename the public product and canonical CLI to AI Environment Optimizer / ai-env-optimizer while preserving the installed ai-optimizer alias, legacy state, environment variables, and stable launchd labels
• add path-free Claude/Codex/Claude-Mem storage inventory and code-level protection for sessions, transcripts, memories, worktrees, plugins, and VM state
• add explicit token-verified, provider-idle, same-filesystem cache moves to a private Trash folder; evening maintenance remains diagnostic-only
• give fresh Codex and Claude Code sessions a tested storage-first operating contract

Mutation and privacy boundaries

• inventory and cleanup preview are read-only and serialize no paths or filenames
• apply accepts no arbitrary path, never recursively deletes, never empties Trash, and cannot run from scheduled maintenance
• only catalog-allowlisted regenerable caches and bounded product logs can move
