Summary

Other Android Apps like CodeAssist should be able to connect to the locally hosted AI to use it.

Problem / Motivation

Using the AI models in other Apps too.

Proposed Solution

Exposing the AI with a OpenAI and Anthropic compatible API.

That would be a very nice option indeed. I think the backend is llama.cpp, so maybe exposing a way of running the server/router functionality wouldn't actually require major changes either?
I suppose the practical utility may be restricted by the probably rather restricted context windows one could achieve on most standard mobile hardware, but it would certainly be nice to have the chance to tinker around with this (and essentially get an easy to use access to something like llama-server).
