Hi all,

This pull request contains a backport of commit 786833cd from the openjdk/jdk repository.

The commit being backported was authored by Joel Sikström on 9 Dec 2025 and was reviewed by Chris Plummer, Stefan Karlsson, Albert Mingkun Yang and Thomas Schatzl.

Apart from the "clean" backport commit, I've changed the issue number for MethodInvokeWithTraceOnTest.java to JDK-8373102, since the problem list is currently associated with this issue.
