  • How synaptic transmission works and what model we are using?
  • What ion channel models are we using or want to use?
    • Gap junctions
    • Chemical synaptic channels
  • What are the passive properties (capacitance, resistivity)?
  • Breakdown of the kinds of neurons that are known (different classes)
    • Morphologies
    • Rough functional description
    • What ion channels are in which neurons?
  • What aspects are in the model and what aspects are not in the model?
