Known Issues

  • Any changes to FG or spoofing settings may result in game crashing on load. If this happens, remove GameUserSettings.ini from \Infinity Nikki\X6Game\Saved\Config\Windows\, launch the game, and let the "please wait" loading line to finish before doing any changes in Opti UI.

  • DLSS inputs may produce bright flickering on certain objects with FSR and XeSS output if "Glow Effect" is enabled in game settings. Either disable the option, or use XeSS inputs for FSR and XeSS output.

  • XeSS inputs result in freeze with DLSS output due to missing depth data (UE5 XeSS moment). Use DLSS inputs for DLSS output.

  • FSR 4 output may produce smearing and pixel junk on certain PerfQuality modes due to non-standard input resolutions (i.e. 1281x721), mainly a problem for INT8 version. As as workaround, you can force specific input resolution manually by creating engine.ini in \Infinity Nikki\X6Game\Saved\Config\Windows\, setting the resolution a bit lower than the PerfQuality mode you want to use, and setting the file to read-only. I.e. for "Quality" mode, use:

[SystemSettings]
r.ScreenPercentage=66.6

  • The game may occasionally crash/freeze during logo/intro movies. If it does, go to \Infinity Nikki\X6Game\Content\Movies\ and remove all the files with Login_ in the name.

Notes

  • The game uses ACE anti-cheat, which only allows signed builds of OptiScaler to inject via dll. If you want to use an unsigned version (i.e. test builds), you can inject them via Special K, or via ReShade’s injector. Make sure to elevate the injector’s permissions (run as admin).

  • If DLSSG via Streamline FG input is not available, set the input to Nukem’s, save ini, and restart the game.

  • To use Reflex on Nvidia cards without DLSS-FG support, set Dxgi = true in OptiScaler.ini.

  • To use Reflex instead of XeLL with XeFG output, rename or remove fakenvapi.dll.

  • To use Ray Tracing option (Hardware Lumen) on AMD and Intel cards, Dxgi = true in OptiScaler.ini is required.

  • To use Ray Reconstruction, set the inputs to DLSS, place nvngx_dlssd.dll to \Infinity Nikki\Engine\Plugins\Marketplace\DLSS\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64\, add to engine.ini the following settings, and restart the game:

    [SystemSettings]
    r.Lumen.Reflections.HardwareRayTracing=1
    r.Lumen.Reflections.Temporal=0
    r.Lumen.Reflections.ScreenSpaceReconstruction=0
    r.NGX.DLSS.DenoiserMode=1
    You can then confirm that it works via Opti UI (should say DLSSD instead of DLSS). Changing AA/upscaler to anything but DLSS while DLSSD is active may result in visual glitches and performance issues; if this happens, set it back to DLSS and restart the game.
