Hi Patric, I know this is not the intended purpose of your tool, by I took your framework as a foundation to my personal goals. We may create another script called jvmstat.sh to cover this kind of things.
You will find its quite handy to have this historical data. I think some people was requesting a feature in jmvtop to generate graphs. With this new view, someone may process the printed output and generate graphics. Actually I will do that using gnuplot.
Anyway, just wanted to share my code. Feel free to accept it or not.
