Cloudflare Browser Isolation — Chrome Extension

Open websites in Cloudflare's remote isolated browser. Protects against zero-day exploits, malware, and phishing by executing page content on Cloudflare's servers instead of your device.

Uses Cloudflare Clientless Web Isolation.

Features

  • Toolbar popup — One-click to isolate the current tab
  • Context menu — Right-click any link to open in the isolated browser
  • Auto-redirect rules — Configure domains to automatically route through isolation

Requirements

  • A Cloudflare Zero Trust account with the Browser Isolation add-on
  • Clientless Web Isolation enabled in your Cloudflare One dashboard

Install

  1. Clone or download this repository
  2. Go to chrome://extensions
  3. Enable Developer mode (toggle top-right)
  4. Click Load unpacked and select the project folder

Setup

  1. Right-click the extension icon → Settings (or click the gear in the popup)
  2. Enter your Cloudflare Zero Trust team name
  3. Optionally add domains for auto-redirect (e.g. example.com, *.foo.com)

How it works

The extension prefixes target URLs with your Cloudflare isolation endpoint:

https://<team-name>.cloudflareaccess.com/browser/<url>

Cloudflare renders the page in a remote browser and streams a safe visual representation back to your local browser.
