When a logged-in user submits a request, the request is associated with the user and the status can be viewed by the user. If the user is not logged-in, the only way for the user to know the status of the request is by calling the helpdesk. Helpdesk agents can view the status of all requests.
Users can view the status of their own requests. Helpdesk agents can see the status of all requests, and can also update the status of the requests.
