This is also an issue with short shots, since those shoot straight up (and dont make it in the zone). This also causes excessive power draw when passing close to our own bump.
Fix: When passing, the max hood angle should always be used, and the flywheel RPM should be varied with a simple linear (maybe?) relationship to distance.
