This PR improves our build and deployment processes with the following enhancements:

Added variables in Makefile to control version and project name
Fixed cross-platform build commands to use consistent paths
Updated GitHub workflow to handle first-time main branch creation
Created clean target in Makefile for better development workflow
Added test task to Makefile for consistency
