[OEM Specific : Bug]: Missing notification ranking API in certain ROMs

Bug Description

Every time I get a notification, I get a popup warning me that the app has crashed, therefore features like notification lighting don't work anymore.

Steps to Reproduce

The problem emerged after updating to the latest versions since 18.0.

Given I'm not seeing anyone else report on this issue, I assume it might be something related to my device.

Expected Behavior

Well... not crash?

Ohh that explains!!!

This OEM or the specific rom, even while being on Android 11 (SDK 30) it excludes the notification priorities/ conversation API so this OS is not running the expected Android 11 frameworks. So it fails. I will add a fallback and a graceful fallback if so but this will be a fix for an issue of the OS not Essentials.

This crash occurs because the app is attempting to call an Android API method (getConversationShortcutInfo()) that does not exist on your device’s version of Android.
