The blur effect is very heavy on some devices making stuff such as the weather ui basically unusable

Proposed Solution

Make "enable blur" affect every essential app blur

Hi! Would like to know where I missed it? It should disable all progressive blur across the app.

The new weather app always has blur on regardless of the blur effect setting being turned on.

Though I definetly saw this happen in more than one place, I cannot recall. It's just a suggestion but maybe you should also make the blur being turned off the default setting so you can get "blur doesnt work here" issues.
