Inkscape has undergone a considerable rewrite since last time this script was changed. As a result some options have either been removed or superseded by different CLI inputs.

Does it open the Inkscape window to you, too? (Arch Linux, Inkscape 1.4-6). I made it work just with inkscape "${DIR}/$<" -C --export-filename="${DIR}/$@" |

@Rubo3 It does but since this seems to be a one-off procedure to build the As for the diff in CLIs, I think both approaches should be fine - I was just being a bit more explicit, based on the Inkscape docs I had briefly consulted. |

Tested with InkScape 1.4 on Fedora 41.
