It's main oscillator DIOT card delivering clean reference for lasers, trapping field generator and Kasli.

Initial specification:

  • Footprint for Wenzel 100MHz but also OLA500x oscillators with even better specs
  • SPI DAC for tuning (part of PLL system) + external optional analogue tuning input (pigtail needed)
  • Clocker-like fanout but with the possibility of changing the division ratio on some outputs (to get i.e. 10MHz)
  • Three 100MHz Outputs after passive splitter
  • Four 10MHz (programmable) Outputs capable of driving Toptica lasers (+6dBm) + one extra available via pigtail
  • One 10MHz (programmable) signal routed to the controller via LVDS
  • EEM & DIOT form factor
  • We plan to add optional timing receiver card mezzanine in the next revision. It would accept WR timing and 10MHz + PPS or even have a GPS receiver.
