Using canonical URLs eliminates this extra redirect, significantly speeding up navigation under high-latency connections.

📊 Impact:

• Saves exactly 1 network round-trip (RTT) per link click by bypassing the HTTP 301 Redirect.
• Implemented in under 5 lines of code across two Markdown files.

Run the following curl command to observe that the updated URLs directly return HTTP 200 OK without redirects:
