When an external clipboard provides TSV and HTML, read HTML numeric metadata only for the pasted TSV rows and the actual width of each row. Previously, unused cells and colspan padding could also be generated. For example, two-column TSV with colspan=8 now produces at most two metadata cells.

Currency values and display formats are preserved. Regression cases cover empty text, ragged rows, and truncated HTML. This addresses the external-paste paths discussed in #285 and #461; the scope was compared with the rich-text work in #1079 and #1092.

Validation:

  • Fork CI at the PR head: passed. Upstream PR CI is awaiting maintainer approval to run.
  • cargo xtask ci: all eight gates passed (fmt, clippy, test, assets, layers, wasm, parity, keytips).
  • Independent agent review: no unresolved standards or specification findings. Nine related tests passed in a separate isolated environment.
  • Boundary behavior was verified with small synthetic inputs. Large-input resource consumption was not measured.
