Browser proxy config

We recommend using Vega with Firefox, as Firefox maintains its own proxy configuration settings. Other browsers (MSIE, Chrome) use the system proxy configuration by default.
To configure Firefox to use the Vega proxy, do the following:
- Open the browser preferences
- Select the "Advanced" settings
- Select the "Network" tab
- Click on "Settings"
The following dialog should pop-up permitting input of proxy settings. By default, the Vega proxy listens on port 8888. The typical proxy configuration is depicted below:
