This PR moves
NotificationCenter
intoswift-foundation
.NotificationCenter
is now defined inswift-foundation
, with some methods kept inswift-corelibs-foundation
viaextension
. This has the result of removing the ability to override these methods, e.g.addObserver(forName:object:queue:block)
cannot beopen
in anextension
.NotificationCenter
no longer conforms toNSObject
inswift-corelibs-foundation
due to the lack ofNSObject
inswift-foundation
, whereNotificationCenter
is now defined, and the inability to add that inheritance retroactively inswift-corelibs-foundation
.NotificationCenter
was moved toswift-foundation
and is accessed via@_spi(SwiftCorelibsFoundation) public
methods. This enables methods likeaddObserver(forName:object:queue:block)
to remain inswift-corelibs-foundation
.
