BABYLON: AI Workbench

This is BABYLON, Jürgen Walther's AI Workbench—a modular, configurable, hybrid knowledge engineering systems framework—for Common Lisp, restored from the CMU AI Repository, powered by the Flavors Meta-Class System (FMCS) for Demonic Metaprogramming.

Supported Platforms

BABYLON compiles, loads, and runs on the following platforms:

  • LispWorks 8.0.1 (64-bit, macOS)
  • SBCL 2.3.4 (64-bit, macOS)

Authors

  • "the Phoeron" Colin J.E. Lupton
  • Jürgen Walther

License

Copyright © 1984–2023, the Authors. Released under the MIT License. Please see the LICENSE file for details.

Restoration Note: as explicitly noted in the original source-code, BABYLON was released by Jürgen Walthers under similar terms as the X Windows System, X11, and the MIT License is the closest modern, standardized FOSS equivalent.
