Holding this back. Spring Boot 3.5 manages and is certified against Hibernate 6.6; official Hibernate 7 (ORM 7 / Jakarta Persistence 3.2) support arrives with Spring Boot 4. Overriding hibernate-core to 7.4 under Boot 3.5 is an uncertified combination, and for the ledger the ORM is the most correctness-critical dependency, so a green test run is not sufficient grounds to adopt an unsupported stack. Will revisit with the Spring Boot 4 upgrade.
