Sober is the current best way to run Roblox on Linux

Unfortunately, it is frequent that by launching it, an update need to be installed (which doesn't seem to be the same than flatpak's) and thus it is not launchable

Here is their repository https://github.com/vinegarhq/sober,
It is close sourced to prevent exploitation but they are friendly and can help for those kind of issues

Their webpage shows that Flatpak is the official way to install it, wouldn't Topgrade's Flatpak step already do the update?

Having tested it before opening this issue, I can verify that after an update, launching Sober could still resolve into having to wait for an update to "download" (maybe it is to unpack or execute some post-install steps instead)

Launching Sober again after this """in-app download""" doesn't make it have to "download" again

I think this deserves an issue, Sober needs to either:

  1. Update the GUI message
  2. Or fix the double-download issue

Mind filing one?
