Large Slack tool approvals duplicate serialized tool input in the top-level fallback text and the Block Kit preview. Slack echoes both copies in block_actions, which can make approval buttons stop responding.

A 5,000-character input produced a 7,645-byte form-encoded callback in the regression test on main.

Approach

The fallback now contains only the approval prompt. The collapsible container still shows the existing truncated tool-input preview.

The hypothesis is that removing the duplicate copy keeps callback payloads below the failing size while preserving the useful preview. The regression renders 5,000-character and 50,000-character inputs, then verifies that:

the callback contains one input preview
the truncated tail is absent
callback size stops growing with the full input
the encoded callback stays within 6 KB
