This idea may not directly address the issue, but after going through the repo and related docs, I noticed that currently it mainly shows examples.

I think it would be really helpful to have a templating or builder system so users can easily try out Agent-Flavored Markdown without writing everything manually.

To explore this idea, I built a small experiment:

It provides a way to generate AFM-style agent specs through a guided UI and AI-assisted flow, making it easier to create and test agents.

This looks like a great start @RukshanRanasinghe2000. We have also been brainstorming editor experiences — will share notes and we can explore this further?

Have also been thinking of a CLI-based builder experience (which would generally be bound to an implementation — and therefore, can allow selection of implementation-supported constructs). E.g., select model, configure tools, etc. step by step.

That sounds great — the CLI-based builder idea makes a lot of sense, especially with a step-by-step flow for selecting models and configuring tools. It feels very aligned with what I explored, but from a UI perspective.

I think both approaches could work well together:

• CLI for developer-focused workflows
• UI for easier onboarding and quick experimentation

Following the earlier discussion around CLI-based editor experiences, I explored a validator-oriented CLI prototype for AFM-inspired agent specifications.

The project focuses on:

• validation pipelines
• typo detection
• configurable rule systems
• developer-focused CLI workflows
• position-aware diagnostics

I thought this might be relevant to the broader tooling discussion around AFM ecosystems and implementation-aware tooling.
