WSO2 API Platform For Kubernetes 0.0.1-M6 Released
Pre-releaseOur API platform for Kubernetes (APK) product offers a comprehensive solution for deploying and managing APIs in a Kubernetes environment. Our product releases come in the form of Helm charts, which provide an easy way to install the necessary components in a Kubernetes cluster. Additionally, we have already tagged and released the required Docker images to the Docker registry, streamlining the installation process. With APK, you can quickly and securely deploy your APIs in Kubernetes, making it easier to manage your API infrastructure and streamline your development workflows.

What's New On WSO2 API Platform For Kubernetes Milestone 6
Runtime domain service
- Support for policies that allow adding, removing, or modifying request and response headers
- Ability to list and search policies
- Option to attach mediation policies to API resources
- Capability to attach scopes to API resources
Adapter
- Implementation of support for basic authentication for backend endpoints, which provides a method for authenticating requests between the API gateway and backend services.
Improvements
- Add support for httproute partitioning
- Improvement to prevent excessive resource consumption in the Envoy proxy by avoiding the creation of duplicate clusters for backendRefs in HttpRoutes that have the same BackendRef.
- Control plane base organization resolver
