Closing as a duplicate of #464, which makes the same console.error→GlobalOutputChannel change but prefixes the log lines with |
🎯 What: Replaced
console.errorwithGlobalOutputChannel?.appendLineinsrc/virtualFileSystem.ts. Also added the missing importimport { GlobalOutputChannel } from './main';.💡 Why:
console.errorwrites to the VS Code Developer Tools console, which is not readily visible to users of the extension. Directing these error messages toGlobalOutputChannelimproves code health by adopting standard, user-visible logging within the extension context.✅ Verification: Visually verified edits using
git diff. Ran the test suite vianpm run testsuccessfully with no regressions introduced.✨ Result: Better error tracking directly from VS Code's Output channels, aligning with the extension's error logging conventions.
