What

Add a GPU coverage line to the pull request checklist. For GPU changes, contributors can report each tested GPU's vendor, model, driver and OS; other changes can say n/a. Explain in CONTRIBUTING that CI runs GPU tests only on lavapipe, so reviewers may request a run on another vendor.

Closes #4458.

Tested

  • git diff --check — passed.
  • python3 tools/check_conventions.py --base FETCH_HEAD — passed.
  • No runtime tests run; documentation only.

Checklist

  • Based on current main; no other open PR implements the same change
  • One topic per PR
  • Depends on: none
  • Unblocks: none
  • GPUs tested: n/a (documentation only)
  • AI-assisted: yes

Other open pull requests touch the same code. Merging one will break the other, or both implement the same thing. If this one builds on them, list them in Depends on.

Closing this as superseded by #4459. That PR adds the same GPUs-tested checklist field with the AGC/shader/VideoOut scope and documents the reporting guidance, so it covers this template-only change.

Successfully merging this pull request may close these issues.

Pull requests that change GPU code don't say which GPUs their tests ran on, and a driver-specific regression reached main (#4435)
